Andrew Robbins

Director, Film & TV Music

Andrew has music in his blood, literally. His grandfather, legendary music publisher Jack Robbins was founder of the first music publishing company to strike a deal with a major Hollywood studio and his father Marshall was the publisher for the great Johnny Mercer for 28 years. Andrew has been licensing music for more than 20 years to such classic award winning films as Crash, Babel, The Queen and television shows such as The Sopranos, Without A Trace and The Shield. A true bon-vivant, you might find Andrew in the society pages.

Aaron Davis

VP, Music Licensing

Aaron has been around, and we mean that in a good way. He's played trumpet, orchestral percussion, guitar and has a true Russian Basso singing voice (whatever that is). Like Pat Benatar, Aaron had classical voice training but felt the need to express himself in his speed metal band, Tempest, opening for such bands as Quiet Riot and Testament. After moving to Los Angeles, Aaron made the move from performer, to music licensor extraordinaire. For the past 13 years he has maintained a reputation as a person with integrity and broad knowledge of the music business. He still loves speed and gets on his motorcycle as often as he can.

Jonathan Firstenberg

Sr. Vice President

Jonathan's auspicious career began about 25 years ago (yes, he's that old, but youthful in style). Starting out as a classically trained violist, he moved on to become a performing guitarist, and ultimately a composer and music supervisor, earning 3 Emmy Awards. Following a unique career path, he became a sought after executive in the music publishing world, having many successes while working at Zomba, BMG and Universal. Jonathan is now thrilled to blend his worldly music experience and expertise with MusicBox. He continues to be madly in love with his wife of 20 years and his teenage son.

David Bramfitt

Minister of Production & Technology

A graduate of Berklee College of Music with a degree in Film Scoring, David has been a part of MusicBox from day one. In addition to composing custom music for numerous shows and films, David oversees all aspects of music production and delivery. His detailed knowledge of our catalog and all things musical makes him a human search engine which we rely on often. Working from New York City on both East and West Coast schedules, David's versatility ensures that all of our operations move quickly, smoothly and professionally, 24/7. In his spare time, he collaborates with Jon Anderson of YES.

Beth Husnik

Publishing Administrator

Beth brings over 10 years of publishing and music production experience. As publishing administrator she works closely with the performing rights societies. She is also the chief liaison with all of our foreign sub publishers. Beth also handles the general office management and is a true jacqueline of all trades. In her free time she enjoys hiking, eating pancakes, and listening to records with her two kitties, Jerry Lee & Myra.

Magda Rosak

Accounting/Bookkeeper

Magda has worked with some of the greatest minds in accounting and business. In the 1990's she was chief bookkeeper at the fabled accounting firm of Arthur Anderson. She escaped relatively un-harmed and was quickly hired by Ken Lay as the number 2 to Jeffrey Skilling. But Magda knows a fish when she smells one, so she moved out west and hitched up with MusicBox. Now we know we're in good hands.

Joel Goodman

Grand Poobah

Joel is a founding partner and owner of MusicBox. Review his IMDB listing and you will see an active and growing list of over 75 films he has scored and 100's of TV episodes, of which include 4 Oscar Nominated films and many Emmy Award winning shows. Originally from New York, Joel and his family now make the wilds of Calabasas their home. His hands are usually on a keyboard (piano and computer), or there's a phone stuck to his ear. Otherwise, he's out riding his bike through the Santa Monica Mountains or across the country... seriously.
